Claimalytics Launches atlas-ai: An Agentic AI Platform Purpose-Built for Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management

New SaaS platform launches with 12 specialized AI agents, with more in active development, to power formulary management, claims analytics, regulatory compliance, and more across the pharmacy benefit ecosystem

TAMPA, FL, March 2026. Claimalytics, LLC today announced the launch of atlas-ai, a first-of-its-kind agentic AI platform designed specifically for the healthcare industry. atlas-ai launches with 12 purpose-built AI agents organized across three operational tiers, with additional agents in continuous development, to transform how health plans, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and provider organizations handle the most complex, time-intensive workflows in pharmacy benefit management.

atlas-ai is the flagship product from Claimalytics, delivering an intelligent, extensible agent framework that organizations can deploy immediately. Unlike traditional healthcare software that serves either the enterprise or the consumer, atlas-ai is built as both a B2B and B2C platform, enabling health plans, PBMs, and provider organizations to leverage the same agent infrastructure that their members and patients interact with directly.

This dual-facing architecture allows atlas-ai to facilitate communication between organizations and the individuals they serve when appropriate, bridging the gap between benefit administration and member experience within a single platform. The platform is designed to grow alongside the needs of the healthcare industry, with new agents and capabilities being added on an ongoing basis as the product evolves.

atlas-ai Platform Overview

atlas-ai is architected around a three-tier agent framework that mirrors the operational structure of pharmacy benefit management:

Core Agents: The foundational layer powering every interaction on the platform. These agents handle formulary and drug information lookup and clinical criteria evaluation. They form the backbone of atlas-ai, ensuring that every request is routed through intelligent clinical reasoning from the moment it enters the system.

Built-in Agents: Pre-configured agents available to all subscribers that extend the platform's intelligence across broader operational workflows. These include benefits verification, drug interaction checking, appeals and grievance management, and member communication. Built-in agents draw on the same clinical data infrastructure as the core tier but apply it to adjacent workflows that traditionally require separate tooling.

Optional Agents: Specialized, add-on agents for organizations with advanced analytics and compliance needs. This tier includes claims analytics, data transformation, provider network analysis, and regulatory compliance agents. Optional agents are designed for organizations that want to go beyond transactional automation into strategic insight and enterprise-grade intelligence.

Built on Public Drug Data Infrastructure

atlas-ai leverages a proprietary drug data resolution pipeline built on RxNorm, the National Library of Medicine's drug normalization standard. By resolving drug identifiers at the Semantic Clinical Drug (SCD) level using RxCUI, atlas-ai can reliably match free-text drug names, NDC codes, and formulary entries across manufacturer and labeling variations. The platform also integrates data from CMS (NADAC, Medicare Part D, ASP), the FDA NDC Directory, DailyMed labeling, and state Medicaid Preferred Drug Lists to deliver real-time formulary intelligence and drug pricing context.

Private AI Models with Verified, Controlled Sources

All Claimalytics products and agents are powered by private AI models that operate within a controlled data environment. Unlike general-purpose AI systems that draw from the open internet, atlas-ai and its agents do not have unrestricted access to external web content. Every source referenced, cited, or used by the AI models has been vetted, verified, and approved by Claimalytics before it enters the platform's knowledge base.

This controlled-source architecture is a deliberate design decision for the healthcare industry, where accuracy and traceability are not optional. By restricting the AI models to approved data sources such as CMS publications, FDA databases, DailyMed labeling, RxNorm, state Medicaid formularies, and other verified clinical and regulatory references, Claimalytics ensures that every response, recommendation, and output generated by the platform is grounded in material that meets the company's standards for reliability and clinical validity. No unverified, uncontrolled, or unapproved internet content is used by any Claimalytics agent or product.

Flexible, HIPAA-Ready Deployment

atlas-ai is available as a fully managed SaaS product with HIPAA compliance at its foundation, differentiated PHI handling, Business Associate Agreements, and enterprise-grade security controls. The SaaS product is hosted on Microsoft Azure with managed SSL and custom domain support.

cortex-ai and claim analyzer: Seeking Beta Partners

In addition to the atlas-ai SaaS platform, Claimalytics is developing two companion products that are currently seeking beta partners. cortex-ai is a Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) deployment variant of the atlas-ai platform, designed for organizations that require data to remain within their own cloud environment. cortex-ai delivers the same agent framework and capabilities as atlas-ai but deploys within the organization's own VPC, encryption keys, and compliance boundary.

claim analyzer is Claimalytics' dedicated pharmacy benefit analytics product, providing deep visibility into claims data, cost trends, and utilization patterns. claim analyzer is designed to complement atlas-ai by giving organizations the analytical foundation they need to make informed benefit design and cost management decisions.

Organizations interested in early access to cortex-ai or claim analyzer can contact Claimalytics directly to discuss beta partnership opportunities.

Continued Development and Expanding Capabilities

The 12 agents available at launch represent the foundation of the atlas-ai platform, not its ceiling. Claimalytics is actively developing additional agents and product capabilities that will be announced in the coming months. Areas of active development include prior authorization automation, advanced regulatory compliance tooling, and expanded data transformation capabilities. The company's roadmap is informed by direct engagement with health plans, PBMs, and provider organizations, ensuring that new agents address real operational needs as they are released.

Availability and Pricing

atlas-ai is available now across four subscription tiers (Starter, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise) designed to scale from emerging organizations to large health plans and PBMs. Partner organizations can access the platform through promotional trial codes distributed via industry partnerships.
